We are currently seeking a Project Engineer Intern with a passion for heavy civil construction to join our team.

Responsibilities:
Field Responsibilities
- Support the project management team by coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, tracking materials, and managing essential project files.
- Assist in document control, including handling submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress reporting.
- Perform construction quantity estimates and contribute to project cost control.
- Conduct site visits, field inspections, and data gathering to ensure project accuracy.
- Follow safety guidelines and help maintain a safe work environment in all project phases.
- Assist in field survey tasks, including setting control lines and working with field engineers on construction layouts.
- Participate in weekly safety meetings, toolbox talks, and field observations.
Office Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager with administrative project tasks such as preparing and organizing project documentation and handling project correspondence.
- Assist in project scheduling and contribute to identifying critical paths and major milestones.
- Support in maintaining SWPPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan) reports and other project-related documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of material quantity takeoffs using drawings and specifications
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university and taking at least one class during the semester prior to the internship.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor environments with exposure to various weather conditions and construction materials.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
